Wedding Photos of the Year and Wedding
Photographer of the Year Contest
The open judging will be held February 19th, 2012, starting at 1:00
at Wedding 101 at 1537 Main Street, Suite B, in downtown Columbia. Wedding 101 is at the corner Main Street and Taylor Street in the heart of downtown. In addition to the open judging, we hope to have a past winner or two give a short presentation.

To attend open judging, there is a $10 fee if paid for in advance via Paypal and a $15 fee to pay at the event. All proceeds go to pay for pizza and to buy dinner for the judges immediately after the judging. We make zero profit (I usually end up coming out of pocket for
various expenses, but that is fine!)
To pay via PayPal in advance, send $10 for every person

the names of each person attending.
All attendees are invited to attend the dinner! The dinner will be held in downtown Columbia near Wedding 101.
Again, the contest is free to enter. Last year, Amelia Phillips Hale
won 2010 Photographer of the Year and Josh Jones won 2010 Best in Show. Ashley Brokop won 2009 Photographer of the Year and Craig Mahaffey won 2009 Best in Show. So those are the photographers
we need to beat this year!
ThinkTankPhoto has donated a $300 rolling airport camera bag for the person named Photographer of the Year. ExpoImaging is donating eight RogueBender Flash cards ($30 value each) to each of the category winners, along with a set of gels, Picture Code has donated a Noise Ninja ($80 value), PhotoProp Floors and Backdrops has donated a $30 gift card, and Camera Bits has donated a Photo Mechanic.
Our judges for this year's contest are wedding photographer Travis Bell, wedding videographers James and Marianna Player, and The State newspaper photographer Kim Kim Foster Tobin.
